Bio:  This is a horse training and riding instruction business that was begun in 2006 by Bevin Allison. Bevin has 10 years experience training and starting horses and 5 years teaching students of all age levels. She specializes in Dressage, but has worked with hunt seat riders, jumping riders, barrel racers, and Arabian halter horses. Her own 3 year old Arabian fillie, through Bevin's expert training, won 2006 High Point Award at the Dennison show as a yearling. That same fillie went on to win, under Bevin, 2008 mare and fillie champion at the Two Rivers Arabian Show in Oct. 2008. One of Bevin's young students and her horse, that Bevin had in training, won two gold medals in Dressage at the Iowa Games in 2008 and also took 2 seconds off their barrel times from the 2007 year as well as beginning schooling 18 inch jumps. All on the same horse! In 2007 Bevin sold her then 6 year old Standardbred gelding, Unexpected Success, who she had trained as a competing first level Dressage horse and had started over jumps to a young girl in Minnesota. Unexpected Success is now schooling 2nd level movements, jumping regularly, and is doing cross country. Bevin developed her basics in the UK and has never stopped learning since. She is currently taking lessons from Amanda Christensen in order to increase and enhance the skills she already possesses.
